How to Use Primo

I-Share is an invaluable tool. With it, you can request books (and some DVDs and CDs) from participating academic libraries in Illinois. There is no limit to the number of items you can request, and you may return them to Donnelley and Lee Library. You can check most items out for 28 days, and may renew them three times.

 

  1. Sign in to your Primo account
  2. Search "All I-Share libraries." You can search by specific author or title, or by keyword
  3. Click on the title of a work you'd like to request
  4. Under "how to get it," choose I-Share (not "Request through Interlibrary Loan (Tipasa))
  5. A request form will appear. Click on "send request" at the bottom
  6. When the item arrives, you will receive an email
  7. Pick the item up at Donnelley and Lee Library Circulation Desk
  8. You may renew your I-Share and Donnelley and Lee Library items on your account

3. Click on the title of the item you'd like to request

6. When the item is ready for pick up, you will receive an email.

7. Pick the item up at the Donnelley and Library Circulation Desk! You may also return the item here.
