Joseph Medill Patterson's papers consist of correspondence, memoranda, a wide variety of personal and business financial records, cartoons, and other materials. The collection relates to Patterson's career as co-publisher and publisher of the Chicago Tribune, the New York Daily News, and Liberty magazine.
