Sessions

  • Schedule 2 sessions
    • Session 1 (during weeks 1-6)
      • Focused on an an introduction to the library, the scholarly conversation, and the intersection of algorithm and AI with research
      • Very limited customization
    • Session 2 (as students are working on their projects)
      • Focused on evaluating sources, information literacy, creating a research plan, and subject specific library skills
      • Most effective when students can immediately put the skills they learn into action
    • Some recommendations:
      • Consider using or adapting the annotated bibliography assignment
      • Talk with your liaison about your goals for your class. The more we communicate the better we can center aspects of the library that compliment your teaching. We want to work with you!

    Timeline

5/12 - 7/31 Meet or otherwise make contact with your liaison librarian about plans and dates for your sessions
