Find books using the I-Share catalog

  • Request books from other libraries by clicking "request" and using the 14 digit barcode on your College ID.  Most books arrive within 4-5 days.
  • You may keep books for three weeks and may usually renew them once
  • There is no limit on the number of books you request and check out
  • You can pick requested books up at the main library desk (Circulation)

Web Feat (searches across a variety of databases)

  • Use to see if the article you want is available online or in the library
  • Most old issues of journals are in the basement and are shelved by the journal title
  • Old New York Times issues are on microfilm in the reference area; old (1848-1985) Chicago Tribune issues are online.
  • If an article is not available here, use Interlibrary Loan to request it.  A copy of the article will be sent to your campus address.  It may take up to two weeks to arrive, so plan accordingly.
